Robert W. Holland is a partner in Hamilton & Terrile, LLP. Previously, he was an associate in the Austin office of Baker Botts, LLP.
Robert Holland received his J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1995. He received his M.B.A. from Midwestern State University in 1992 and his B.S. in astronautical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1985. Mr. Holland served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force between 1985 and 1992 as a mission commander in an F-15 squadron and also as a T-38 instructor pilot with the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program.
Mr. Holland has extensive experience in patent preparation, prosecution, licensing and litigation in a wide variety of technical fields including semiconductor manufacturing equipment and techniques, computer software and hardware, video conferencing software and hardware, and telecommunications and Internet applications. Mr. Holland concentrates his practice in patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright matters.
Mr. Holland is a member of the State Bar of Texas, is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the Travis County Bar Association and the Austin Intellectual Property Law Association.
